Museum
The three striking buildings of the Hamburger Kunsthalle, located close to the Alster, are home to one of the most important public art collections in Germany. The Kunsthalle is one of the few museums that offers a tour through eight centuries of art history. It is an excellent place to discover connections and gain new, surprising insights.
The developments in art from the Middle Ages to the present day are shown in the presentation of the renowned collections and temporary exhibitions.
